Yadanarbon FC and Lanexang United FC to Fight for Entry to Semi-final
Myanmar National League champion, Yadanarbon FC and Lao Premier League champion, Lanexang United FC, will play their last match for the Round 1 of TMCC on December 27, 6:00 pm local time at Mandalar Thiri Stadium, Mandalay, Myanmar. Both teams will surely put up a good performance as this is a chance for either one of the teams to advance to the semi-final and all the fans can definitely look forward to a very exciting game.
Yadanarbon FC won the championship title in Myanmar National League with a difference of 12 points against their main opponent Yangon United FC in second place. Similarly, Lanexang United FC also became the champion in Lao Premier League with a difference of 6 points against the runner-up Lao Toyota Club. These two teams have had a successful campaign in their respective leagues towards the Toyota Mekong Club Championship. Both have been the best attacking team of the league and both teams have maintained the record of being unbeaten this season.
Lanexang United FC beat SHB Da Nang FC at the first game in front of the home fans. But it will be a challenge for the upcoming away game. Although Lanexang United FC does not have many famous players, they have improved in a short period of time and they are expected to compete well against Yadanarbon FC. It’s not the best preparation for Yadanarbon FC so far, as they have many national players being called up to play in the Myanmar national team and they have not been able to do enough group trainings together. Fortunately, the mutual understanding among players gained last season will probably help them to give their best efforts during the game.
Since Soukaphone Vongchiengkham and Khampheng Sayavutthi from Lanexang United FC are experienced national team players, they are expected to be able to lead and control the team. On the other hand, Myanmar national football team players, top scorers of the last season, Win Naing Soe, Yan Aung Lin, Ye Ko Oo and others from Yadanarbon FC will participate in this upcoming match. Comparing the coaching credentials of the two teams, Lanexang United FC’s Brazilian coach, Leonardo Vitorino has achieved much success with Thai Premier League club Buriram United, while Yadanarbon FC has Rene Desaeyere, who has lot of experience coaching around South East Asia.
This is a match between two offensive teams and a game that should promise lots of goals with the way both teams play. This match will kick off at 6:00 pm on December 27 at Mandalar Thiri stadium. A match that you should not miss.
